Conservation for Kids

Welcome! It's never too early to start learning about conservation.
In this section we'll be featuring

Our Clean up the Park
game can help kids see
why it's so important to keep
our Earth clean!

Our Recycling game can help
kids learn what to recycle, and why!

~~~Earth Friendly Fun~~~
Tip #8 in our list of tips for teaching kids to respect the Earth talks about putting out a birdhouse. We did just that with some fun results! We put out a small birdhouse (too small for a bird, purely decorative...we thought!) that we got from the arts and crafts store for a couple bucks and painted, and within a week there was a lizard claiming it as her (we think) own! Since then, we've seen a number of lizards coming and going from the house, and we've put out a bunch of new houses. It's become known as "Lizard City"! We really enjoy watching our little lizard neighbors and they do a great job of keeping the bug population under control.
